Oh I hear you. It was a shame. We all agree here at the Middle Row that this was a "Goodbye" film. It was a horrible film and I was terribly disappointed.

I was deeply upset too.

I had followed the series right to it's really rather lack lustre ending, the clips show that was 'The Truth'; apart from a great ending for The Smoking Man and some lovely scenes between Mulder and Scully, it just showed clips from old episodes and all our old favourite characters, being dead, all appeared to Mulder as ghosts!!!

It was bizzare but not as depressing as The X files: I want to believe; a whole 10 years late and 6 years after the generally awful series 9 had ended, this is all Chris Carter could muster?

I was upset but I should have known, based on what series 9 was, that this was to come.

I don't suppose anyone will read this, but I just felt like leaving my anger out there; yep, it's months later but it still bothers me, especially that non sensical extra ending.

Scully in a bikini? Huh? What? It felt like the rather alarming story line about an extreme sex change and a critically ill boy (was Scully auccessful? We'll never know!) almsost had two fingers stuck up to them as Mulder and Scully 'escape' to some tropical island.

It had no baring on the tone of the film (set in WINTER!) and felt like an 'eff you' to anymore films, regardless of the significance of 2012 being a good point wherein an x files film, a mythology one this time please, would be timely but if it's anything like this drivel that Chris Carter churned out (I don't believe it took 10 years to come up with this storyline! It's like one of the lesser episodes, that's an EPISODE, not worthy of the scale of a film!) then maybe it's too late for The X Files to rescue itself and be significant again in this mad, mad world.

Anyway, enough rambling from me.

It's sad to say but there are far more interesting series out there now; I have fond memories of the X files series, and the first film, but thats it for me.

I recommend, if you like good quality drama and sci-fi/fantasy;
Six Feet Under, Dexter, Doctor Who, Heroes, Lost...

It took me a minute to get back. Life's been hectic.

In response to "DJ Mozilla's" comment.......I never asked to be featured here nor do I need the publicity. I simply pointed out that not just anyone who can press a button or play a CD is in fact a DJ. I hear far too often of those who claim to be DJs yet lack the skills to hold up against even an amateur. You are ranked amongst those same people in my opinion. I take pride in what I present to the public and each song is marked with my signature. You have no signature.

Anyone can compile a list of great songs by someone else. I believe it's called a "compilation". That's not a mix. You put together songs that are exactly the same on the album. This proves yet again that Nicolay (the producer) is talented but speaks nothing of your skills as a DJ.
