Now I know it sounds a bit strange but take a look at it. It caught us by surprise as well. While waiting for a small press film trailer premiere we stumbled across this guy singing and dancing his heart away. Talented to say the least and very deserving of some recognition. We were not going to use this footage, forever stored away in our archives but I decided to let it all hang out.

Well lets give it a look. Make sure you tell us what you think in the forums or the the comment section. Entertainment of the highest order bought to you buy the guys at the Middle Row.

Review: Mirrors

TMR:

Directed by: Alexandre Aja Written by: Alexandre Aja Starring: Kiefer Sutherland, Paula Patton, Cameron Boyce, Erica Gluck, Amy Smart, Mary Beth Peil

I don’t know why American filmmakers have this desire to remake foreign films especially Korean and Japanese horror films. It seems every time they try the translation just doesn’t come out quite right. The horror genre itself has its share of pitfalls and bad critic reviews but none more so then the Asian Cinema remake. The horror from Korean filmmakers has a specific flare and style that is specific to that side of the world and It rarely translates to the American big screen.

Bernie Mac and Isaac Hayes

Bernie Mac’s funeral has been scheduled for August 16th. It’s a sad day indeed when we lose one our giants of the comedy world. According to many there will be a little less laughter out there in the world. Bernard Jeffrey McCollough died aged 50 of complications arising from pneumonia, in a Chicago hospital.

Mac is survived by Rhonda, his wife of over 30 years and the couple’s 30-year-old daughter Je’Niece, who were both present when the actor died. He was truly an amazing comedian, actor and father. One of the most compelling performers on stage in the last few years. It is a shame to have lost the man.

I remember watching his show and his unique way of dealing with married life and parenthood. It always bought a smile to my face when he often threatened in many episodes to “bust the children’s heads ’til the white meat shows.” So watch Ocean’s 11, Transformers and The Original Kings of Comedy and remember.

Aight, once again yo boy at the spot somewhere in NYC .  This time it’s Crash Mansion, for K Salaam’s and BeatNick record release party of their project ‘ Whose World Is This’. So I head as I am heading to spot while one the phone with Mena…Shout out to Mena.  I get greeted by longtime friend Tamir Brown C.E.O of Lyrics To Go.  First I must say that, this is a dude that has been doing this thing of music for some time.  It is apparent, for those that know him; he is in love with hip hop.  He has come a long way from his emcee days to be one of New York’s best hip hop promoters.  What’s great about this cat is that is keeping a period of true hip hop alive.  I mean I was nodding my head to some classic artist like Nice and Smooth, Tribe, Gang Starr while writing this blog in real time.  Crazy!!!…. Thanks to my Palm Treo I could do that.

So who’s the DJ spinning these fine classics?

We all know now that Hatfill had nothing to do with Anthrax attacks. He filed a lawsuit and won, got 5.6 million for his pain. It was unfortunate that the FBI chased the wrong person for years, litterly destroying his reputation but who is at fault here? Should the FBI be held accountable or is there something more sinister to this story?

The latest fall guy, the now-deceased Bruce E. Ivins was pinpointed as their top suspect within the last year. Flimsy evidence gathered during the investigation by the FBI fail to directly link Ivins to the attacks and only points him out to the ‘knowlegable’ as patsy, nothing more then an attempt by the government to find a fall guy that the media could swallow. The FBI knew that the anthrax originated at the Ft. Detrick Biological division with a small number of scientists. With that in mind it takes the FBI 7yrs to ‘close-in’ on the suspect? According to news sources the FBI started ‘hounding’ Ivins in 2006 after a shakeup in the Agency. This probably aggravated his already chronic depression which lead to his suicide.

Bruce Ivins worked in the same location as Hatfill, Ivins apparently had the classic MO for a possible suspect but the FBI focused all their attention on Hatfill? How many people were in the Lab? Exactly how many people had access to weaponized anthrax? Was Ivins ever bought in for questioning? Was he polygraphed during this long impressive FBI investigation?

Anyone with eyes can see that the intent of the Anthrax attacks was to create a link between Islamic extremists and the 9/11 attacks. The deadly letters were sent to our media elite as well as prominent congressmen, then-Senate Majority Leader Tom Daschle (D-SD) and Sen. Pat Leahy (D-Vt) who were in someway connected to the passage of the Patriot Act. An esquisitly planned attack (who in my opinion had to know in advance about the 9/11 hijackings) for someone so unstable as Ivin.

Got an inside scoop on the new movie “College.” If you like raunchy, beer drinkin’, rated-R parties with a little extra then you will like this movie. I wouldn’t call it a teen movie or a silly comedy without meaning. The film has style and turned out to be a well rounded comedy. Stay tuned for a full review after release.

Got something to say about the film that wont fit in the comments section. Talk about HERE in our new forums. Just sign in and get right to it.

Did the Government come to clean up a UFO crash landing or was it a plane? Another high altitude balloon with flares? A squadron of F-15?  It is strange that the Government would haul away an innocent looking meteorite by “black helicopters?” Are we totally fooled? How long can the government keep this secret from the American public and should they?

Discuss this amazing story HERE on our new forums. Just sign in and be a part of the conversation.
